Introduction: There are many stereotypes in society about psychiatric patients and the diseases they suffer from. Psychiatrists themselves often treated with reserve by society. They cause respect among and, at same time, fear of having to visit.Aim study: The aim study is analyze attitude patients, their psychiatrists. Methods: results were obtained on basis an online survey.Results: 138 respondents took part survey, 81.2% women 18.8% men. As as 22% do not know who a psychiatrist is, confusing his competence psychologist. Over 40% believe that would feel more stressed before visiting this doctor than any other specialist, 31.9% associate decreased self-esteem, difficulty finding permanent job (21%) perceive them embarrassing (70 %) More half admit conceal fact from employer. 62.3% enter into partnership person receiving treatment psychiatrist.Conclusions: On results, it can be noticed prejudiced against field specialist doctors themselves. Fear, insecurity, withdrawal conditioned inadequate level knowledge. However, years go by, society's confidence psychiatrists growing, comfort.
